Who are we?
This website is run by PASECOM GROUP LTD, trading as Private MRI, company number 17139327, registered in England and Wales, registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Contact: hello@private-mri.co.uk or 01455 242326. By using the website you agree to these terms.
What is the service?
We publish information about private MRI scans in England: prices that centres publish, referral rules, centre types and report times. If you ask us to, using the form, we pass your request to one independent scanning centre that covers your area so that it can contact you. That is the whole service.
We are not a clinic, not the NHS, not a diagnostic service and not a referral service. We do not scan, diagnose, refer or book a confirmed slot.
Is anything on this site medical advice?
No. The editor, Pete, is not a clinician. The information is general and may not apply to you. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or other qualified health professional. If you have symptoms that worry you, contact your GP or NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999.
How accurate are the prices?
We copy prices from centres' own published pages and show the date we checked them. Centres can change prices, referral rules and report times at any time, and a price shown here may not be available to you, on the day you want, at the site you want. The quote and terms the centre gives you are what count. If you find a price that has changed, please tell us.
What happens when I submit a request?
Submitting the form is a request for contact, not a booking. If a partner centre covers your area, it may call or email you, usually within one working day. Nothing is booked until you agree a time and price directly with the centre. If no centre covers your area, we will tell you on the next page, and nobody will contact you about that request.
Your contract for any scan is with the centre, not with us. The centre is responsible for your care, its safety checks, the scan, the report and its own charges. We are not a party to that agreement.
Do I pay you anything?
No. We do not charge you. A partner centre may pay us a fee for the introduction. See how we make money.
What must I not do?
Do not submit a request for someone else without their permission, give false details, use the form to send spam or abusive content, or try to interfere with the website. We may delete requests that break these rules.
Our liability to you
We take reasonable care to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or suitable for you. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on it, or for anything a centre does or does not do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.
Links to other websites
Price rows link to centres' own websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. A link is not a recommendation, and a centre being listed does not mean it is a partner of ours.
Your data
Our privacy notice explains how we handle your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page applies from the date shown. Last reviewed 5 October 2026.
Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you have a complaint about our service, email hello@private-mri.co.uk and we will reply within 14 days. Complaints about a scan or a centre should go to the centre first; you can also contact the Care Quality Commission about a registered provider.
Who can use the form?
You can use the form to ask a centre to contact you about a scan for yourself. If you are asking on behalf of someone else, such as a parent, you must have their permission to share their details, and the centre will still need to speak to the person being scanned before it books anything. Centres set their own rules about age and referral, and some will not scan under-18s by self-referral.
Is the website always available?
We try to keep the website running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. If the form is not working, you can contact a centre directly using the links in the price tables.
Who owns the content?
The text and design of this website belong to PASECOM GROUP LTD. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal use. You may not copy our tables or text to publish elsewhere without permission. Centre names, prices and logos belong to those centres.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time. The privacy notice explains what we collect and why.
Is submitting the form a booking?
No. It is a request for a centre to contact you. Nothing is booked until you agree a time and price with the centre.
Who is responsible for my scan?
The centre that scans you. Your agreement for the scan is with the centre, not with us.
Looking for a scan? Request a private MRI. Free for you; the centre may pay us.
